Audient Takes New Heritage Console To The Bridge

Posted on Posted in Blog

The Miloco Studios group are strong Audient stalwarts and have their share of the British manufacturer’s gear, with a Zen in The Bunker, an ASP8024 at The Cold Stores and an ASP4816 in The Bridge up until the recent refit of the flagship Orinoco Complex writing studio, where a brand new ASP8024 Heritage Edition now resides. “The Audient is a great console for the writing room, offering clean sound with a retro touch and plenty of routing flexibility,” says Miloco Studios announcing the “…cosmetic, acoustic and equipment upgrade” of The Bridge studio based in London’s SE1 earlier this month.

The Bridge”

The Bridge itself is billed as one if the Miloco Studios group’s best writing rooms, and has had a star-studded catalogue of clientele over the years to underline this, including the likes of Emeli Sandé, Plan B, Adele, Tom Odell and Roots Manuva. “The Heritage Edition console is the perfect upgrade for The Bridge and gives the large, comfortable, control room a definitive centerpiece,” explains Robbie Dunne of Miloco Gear, who facilitated the purchase. “The feature set is great; the Audient provides us with 24 channels and 48 inputs – plenty of inputs for a writing session and more than enough channels to mix down on to.”

As well as its sleek looks, Audient’s 24-channel ASP8024-HE provides flexibility with its array of connectivity options: DAW outputs, effects returns, monitoring devices and other line sources. So the installation of the brand new console, together with the significant monitoring improvements and additional bass absorption at The Bridge studio, ensure it offers the ideal setup for stars of the future.

Run by a small, specialist team in their base in London, the Miloco Studios group works in partnership with a some of the biggest studios and producers in the world, ensuring that each artist finds the studio right for their individual project. With New Order, Florence + The Machine, Placebo and Bastille also numbering amongst Miloco Studios’ alumni, they can be sure they’re getting it right.

“We’re flattered that Miloco chose Audient once again for the Bridge Studio when refitting, as they had so many options available through their sister sales division Miloco Gear,” adds Audient’s Bryn Wildish, who facilitated the recent sale. “The additional benefit is that Miloco Gear can now demo prospective Audient console purchasers the advantages of our ASP8024|HE in a genuine working studio environment in a great, central London location.”

Both Bryn and Robbie welcome contact from those looking to arrange a demo in person at The Bridge.
