Navigate the EVO Expanded System’s hardware features with blazing speed courtesy of the all new Motion User Interface. Utilising each unit’s stunning high resolution, full colour screen Motion UI will intelligently display information as you need it and all in sync, transforming the Expanded System into a fully immersive, unified and easy to use solution – the first of its kind.

Speedy Workflow

Another major benefit to the EVO Expanded system is the ability to control the gain levels on both SP8 and EVO 16 remotely from within the EVO 16 Software Mixer. Meaning you can control the levels of the preamps, toggle phantom power on and off or change the input names on both the EVO 16 and SP8 devices from your computer.

This is also true for any applicable software such as Logic Pro X which enables you to adjust and recall the mic preamp gain and settings from within your project.

Compatible with MacOS and Windows.

How does it work?

Setting up the EVO Expanded System is very simple, all it requires is a standard optical cable running from SP8’s optical output to the EVO 16 optical input as well as an additional optical cable from one of the optical outputs of EVO 16 into an optical input of SP8. Providing you are running the latest EVO Software App and firmware versions on all the devices, that’s it, you now have an EVO Expanded System.

Please note if you are running two SP8 devices with an EVO 16, you need to make sure that the SP8s are connected in the right order, so for the SP8 that brings audio into optical input 1 on EVO 16, you will need to make sure that you use optical output 1 on EVO 16 to connect to the SP8 to complete the setup, and the same goes for optical input two.

Ready to expand your system?

The EVO Expanded system is designed to help you maximise your time in the studio, which is incredibly important especially when working with higher channel counts and on time sensitive projects. For more information about either EVO 16 or SP8, check out the products below.
